This time, we brought a chair for Ethan to skate behind. He seemed to like the extra help.
After some practice, we went inside the warming house for hot cocoa.
We also decided we better share a bag of popcorn.
After refueling inside, we headed back to the ice. Suddenly, Ethan just broke free from the chair and decided to go solo.
Here he is skating around on his own. Slowly walking, with some short glides. He was a natural.
A job well done. Next week: Lesson three.
