Ethan loves Alexander but doesn't understand his strength and how to be gentle. Poor Alex doesn't know what to think of his big brother wanting to tackle him all the time.

2 Months

Alexander had his 2 month checkup this week. He is in the 50% bracket for height, weight and head circumference. His height is 23", weight is 11 lb 9 0z., head circumference is 39.6 cm. He is a great eater, full of smiles and is starting to coo a lot.

A Christmas Baby!

A huge congratulations goes out to Uncle Glen and Aunt Beth on the arrival of their son Douglas Daniel Kamerman!! He was born at roughly 9:45 p.m. Christmas evening! What a Christmas gift and blessing is all I can say!!! We are excited to meet him when we go to Montana in a few weeks!

Alexander's big debút

Alexander played the part of baby Jesus in the Christmas play at our church. He did it three nights in a row and did great! He slept through most of it. Exactly what Mary and Joseph wanted.

The weather was very cold last week so we got out the paints!

Alexander has been smiling a lot. Mommy actually caught this one on her camera phone. Gotta love his little dimples!

Thunder snow!

We got 14 inches of thunder snow on Tuesday. A strange phenomenon we found out about since we moved to Wisconsin. We had thunder and lightening while it was snowing!!! Its a little crazy! Any how Ethan was very excited about the snow. The next morning Ethan and daddy were out snowblowing and shoveling.

5 weeks old!

Alexander was five weeks old last week Friday! Its amazing how much he has already changed. He is such a good eater. We already have to supplement him. He smiles and loves to look at the Christmas lights. It will be interesting to see how much he weighs next week at his 6 week checkup. He looks a lot like Ethan!!

Christmas cookies anyone?

Ethan got to decorate Christmas cookies at our play date last week. His friends Alyssa, Gabby and Caleb all joined in the fun! Let's just say the cookies had lots of frosting and piles of sugar sprinkles. It was messy and lots of fun for the kids.

Wisconsin Christmas tree hunt

This past Saturday we all ventured out to get a Christmas tree. The weather was beautiful! We still have no snow and it was in the mid to upper 50's!! We went to a Christmas tree farm not far from Janesville. Ethan had a great time!

Building with Grandpa Kamerman

Ethan enjoyed lots of quality time with Grandpa Kamerman. Their favorite things to do together this week was building with Mega Blocks and going for walks with Grandpa.

We had a special Thanksgiving visit from Grandma and Grandpa Kamerman. They were here for a week. They met Alexander for the first time.

We recently bought a membership to the local children's gym. It's a great place to let Ethan run free.

Bath Time

Bath time for Alexander is much different than with Ethan. Poor Alex cried through his entire sponge bath. Here he is finally snuggled up again in his warm towel. Happy once again.

Announcing the Birth of Alexander Howard Sullivan

Alexander Howard Sullivan was born at 3:53 a.m. on October 30, 2009. He was 8lbs. 2oz. and 21 in. long.

They say the second birth goes much faster. So true! My water broke about 1:45 a.m. Immediately my contractions became very intense. We arrived at the hospital about 2:20. I was dilated to 5cm. During the process of the nurses trying to get me hooked up to an epidural I started to feel the urge to push. I had dilated from 5 to 10 cm in an hour. They had to hold me back from pushing until the doctor arrived (Not easy!!). I pushed for 13 minutes and he was here! All Natural birth... I won't go into the details of that! All I can say is we are soooo happy Alexander is here and healthy!!!

Pregnancy update...

I had my 38 week appointment today (10/29/09). The doc. said I am now 3.5 cm dilated (last week I was 2.5) and fully effaced. I am having regular contractions. He dropped into position about 3 weeks ago. Little Sully could arrive any time now. We will see what day he chooses for his birthday. Please pray that he has a safe arrival and is healthy. We will keep you all posted on his pending arrival...

Pre-Halloween dress up

Ethan got his Halloween costume yesterday. He just had to try it on. He is very excited to be Tigger this year. I told him Tiger likes to jump and he was jumping all over the house.

Fun in the Leaves!

We made a huge pile of leaves in our yard. Ethan enjoyed every moment jumping into the pile. He also tried riding his 4-wheeler through the pile... that didn't work so well.

A visit from Grandma Carolyn

Grandma Carolyn came down to Janesville this past Monday. We had a very nice visit with her. We took her to to Rotary Gardens in Janesville. Here are some pictures of Ethan and Grandma at the Gardens.

Ethan loves to help mommy with anything in the kitchen. Here we are making yummy snicker doodles! He also learn fast that he could sneak a cookie when mommy was not looking.

Daddy loves to entertain Ethan when he gets home from work. This particular day daddy had a very long day. Bless his heart he tried to stay awake to play with Ethan. Ethan saw that Ted was sleeping and he told me "Daddy night night mommy". It was pretty cute.
