We just returned from a three-day trip to northern Wisconsin, where Ted's parents have a cottage on a lake. Kristy's brother, Jon, flew from Montana to join us.
Highlights of the trip included: Ethan floating in his tube; Ethan going on the paddle boat with Mom and Dad; water skiing; wake boarding; kayaking; campfires; and windsurfing.
Grandpa and Grandma Sullivan won the Blango tournament, beating out the other teams of Ted and Kristy, Matt and Stephanie, and Jaci and Jon. GiGi and Ethan watched from the deck.
We had plenty of time to relax. We ate piles of hot dogs and brats. And we discovered that Ethan loves beans and watermelon.
Oh, and the Brewers swept the Pirates. We listened to the games on Grandpa's 50-year-old transistor radio. And who knew smores could be so good with Kit Kat bars?
